a place like: sudirman.

"You're going home tonight?" She texted as she packed up her bag out of her desk.

"Yeah but maybe very late tonight." Her friend replied on the phone as she sat down again with the bag on her right shoulder.

"Okay"

Phone shut.

The elevator light blinked at the ground floor.

She walked out gently from the tower she had been nesting for a year.
The gate that opened wide in front of her, left a little void at break of dawn.
It was silent, she played a set of playlist she had been listening to every time she walked through to the bus stop.

She rolled out a lucky strike, lighted it out as the rain started to pour.

The crowd was quiet, and they ran.
But she laughed.
The traffic was empty, the cars were stopping.
And she still laughed.

Racing through the music she had been playing on repeat. Two shots for familiar sound on the loop.

Rain poured down heavily to the pavement, a nature bliss after a long day of Sahara.
She greeted them like friends as they hit her skin and washed off her combat suits.
The long line of skyscrapers towered upon her do not save anything.

She lost it.

The nuance of people in rush to rest, accompanied her slow pace to the bus that took her home.

Yet,
She still lost it.

Miles never give a space.
But now miles is the space.
A why never written so grand in her mind.
What is this city going up to?
